    The carpet hides alot of sins.... Putting down the gell isn't bad. It's all the prep work that takes time. The gas tank cover is usually sealed with silicone on the older boats. So you have to figure out how to seal that so it doesn't leak and will accept the gell. So that probably means your...

    A harbor freight oscillating multi tool with a scraper blade make easy work of it. Go slow and it will keep most of the glue on the carpet. Good luck with gell coating the floor.

    Plywood for transom from Lowes

    I just used whatever menards had in marine grade... dont think it was douglas fur. I think as long as it doesnt have any voids you should be good. Hopefully someone with actual knowledge of boat building will reply.

    Unfortunately I cant show that at this time.... The boats been apart so long I don't know how to put it back together:brickwall: And i dont have any picks of it before i took it apart. I will try to dig the cylinder out of the attic and see how it goes together this week though.
