    16'6" Enticer help

I haven't been on here in a while. I had a restoration thread a couple years ago that I haven't updated. Long story short, the boat is solid, and I've been running the hell out of it for a few years with a DT140 Suzuki that finally blew up a couple months ago. I now have a mildly modified...

    1988 Enticer restoration. Advice welcomed.

Just saw this. Haven't checked this section in a while. Finished the boat and have used it often and it is dirty but holding up very well. I will have to post some pics.

    South Carolina

I'm in Myrtle Beach and out there two to three days a week. Just went from Socastee to Little River Inlet and back yesterday. It gets narrow in "The Ditch" or Pine Island Cut section of the waterway but like was mentioned, I've seen some big barges and dinner cruise boats navigate just fine...

    71 mx-15 restoration and build

Nice Build. I don't think too much motor is a problem. If you want to part it out, Im looking for a stern light plug/socket that is 4.5" long for my Checkmate Enticer. All the replacements are too small and I don't want to drill any more holes in the hull. If the parts boat has one that can be...

New Pulsare 21 RECORD SPEED! 98.1 mph!!

Very impressive! I wonder if you took that boat up north in the colder air if it would put up a triple digit number. If I win the lottery I'm buying one from you right away. Good work.

    Waccamaw River S.C.

Where in Horry County? The river is boatable. If it's near the Waterway or Conway their are restaurants. Further up I'm not sure but it does get narrower. What boat do you have. Where are you used to boating?

    Waccamaw River S.C.

Curvey river and a little further south you are in the Intercoastal Waterway. Lots of boating.

    Thanks Mike Combs

I just wanted to comment on the excellent customer service I have recieved from Mike at Checkmate. I am restoring a 1987 Enticer that I have documented (and need to uptdate) in my thread in the restoration forum. Mike has previously sold me the exact replacement rub rail insert at a very...

    I don't need but want a resto

Stupid question but... What does "no load through or over exhaust" mean?

    1988 Enticer restoration. Advice welcomed.

Thanks. Durabak is basically a D.I.Y. spray or roll in bedliner. It just happens to be recomended for marine use. The bilge paint went over the bare fiberglass work in the bilge area so I can't think of what would not be compatable. It's strange that it only appears to be wrinkled where it may...

    1988 Enticer restoration. Advice welcomed.

I'm back after another long absence with progress pics and a question. I painted the bilge about a month ago with Interlux bilge paint and followed the prep instruction. It looked great and I finished my seat bases and future foot throttle mounting pad. This weekend I was cleaning the deck...

    1988 Enticer restoration. Advice welcomed.

Ok guys, sorry for the long absence. I have had a very busy schedule the last couple months and haven't made as much progress as I had hoped. The floor is finished other than sanding some seams if I decide not to use carpet. Transom knees are finished and may be overkill but I'm not sure. I...
