    yeah i have been talking to him about a 383 swap but i dont think its going to be in my budget this year so im looking for basicly a top end kit to keep me happy for about a season then comes a 383 or something along those lines or bigger

    my boat is in storage right now but hopeing i will be getting it out in a month or so when the weather gets nicer... i do rember it saying on a tag 260/270 hp on one of the valve cover bolts...i just hope its a 4 bolt main!

    85 checkmate enforcer sbc repower?

    i have a 85 checkmate enforcer 24' and im thinking it has a 260hp mercruiser which from what i believe is 2 bolt main and for the power i want, it will not hold...id like to get it around 70mph so i was looking at this 383 on ebay.... let me know what you guys think. its cheeper than i can get...
