    Predictor is getting painted!!

    I am starting to paint a black and gold 87 Eluder because if you touch it in the summer it wll make you cry! I'll leave the bottom black but the top will be a light beige metal flake with some red and green highlights. What kind of paint did you use? how much did it take? and is it clear coated?

    Transom plate

    Checkmate used Taylor Made Inc. for windshields for many years, not sure about the 1990's. These are high quality so someone or something happened to yours if it is a Taylor. The plastic will hold up for a while but not as long as the glass,you can always replace it as needed

    Where do I get a Transom Brace/Plate like the ones that often come on a Checkmate

    Your best bet is your local sheet metal shop. 3/16 stainless will be OK. it is a simple bend for them. Finding a used one for sale will be difficult. Look at Tiny Boat Nation for Transom plate.     Need windshield for 1989 eluder.

    You should check Taylor Made products .com If you need measurements mine will be in there getting refurbished late Oct. But it is an 86 model. There is also an Eluder for $900 in GA. Boat Salvage yard. Search that term and you will find them.
