Jetmate question

W Vaughan

Active member
I've had a jetmate in the pasture for a while. Since the Entertainer is nearing completion now i've been thinking... What would the jetmate be like with the holes glassed up and an outboard on the back?

Lol... yes literally. I picked it up for a couple hundred bucks and figured i could do something or another with it. I know Viper 1(Sammie) converted one to I\O drive years ago and i have seen some of the other go fast jets converted. Just havent seen one of these. My main concern is the hull bottom design. If its wont handle right with an OB then i wont do it but if there is potential I'm ready.

After glanceing through my favorite chapters in the Book of Jim, namely the Chapter on High Speed and Low Drag, and also the chapter on Acceleration and Defying Gravity, and keeping in mind the old Axiom: There is no replacement for displacement, I wonder how twins would look back there?.....
