Looking for Orange Vinyl

I'm restoring my 74 Trimate I back to its beauttful start but can't find the origianl or matching burnt orange vinyl to redo the interior.

My boat was the black hull with orange flake upper, black carpet and burnt orange seats and rail coverings.

I have checked with Checkmate and "Mike" in the parts dept says the company that supplied the orange back in the 70s closed.

Does anyone know of a source that will match the original interior? "Burnt Orange"

Just lookng for the vinyl material--smooth and ribbed

Thank You

Richey

Orange is tough, I'm trying to match my MX-16. Good luck, let us know what you find. I have a yard or two of a bright orange left from a job I did years ago if that could be helpful.:bigthumb:

Thats hilarious ... "Tiger Lilly".. thats exactly the color I chose above... I couldn't remember the name... I also have a pin-striping that matches very closely... That was tough to find!!
That color orange has become very popular with a lot of race boats and bikinis i've been seeing... I saw these boats race last week in Clearwater beach... they estimated 80K people on the beach and 2K spectator boats!!

The guy who is doing my upholstery uses Great Lakes, Rochford supply and wholesale usa. He has access to any shade of orange you would want for an old Checkmate. all of it is marine grade also.
You can call him at

Winchester trim shop
308-338-9216

If you want to see some of his work look at my resto thread on my 1978 Convincer.
