Hi all-Name is Chris (Christo680) & i,m in Rochester,NY. Do most of my boating on Lake Ontario &i its surrounding bays, some Finger Lakes trips. I currently have a 1990 Vision 221 ,that is just about finished with a full restoration.
I bought this boat 3yrs. ago in pretty good shape, ran it a few seasons & decided it needed a new interior.that was the begining of the end!
Upholstery from Checkmate arrived late in the season so I didn't install it.(last year) Since then the motor went in to get "refreshed",(454bbc--360hp). Well, we opened it up to find sone broken & weak parts. Motor guy estimated 300-325hp. One thing (or part) led to another & by the time we were done it wes pushing
500+hp on the dyno.
Can't stop there so it's going in for paint hopefully this week. Can't wait to get it in the water and see what it will do. Hoping for 80+(did 69 on gps last year).
Anyway, enough of this, thos is my third 'mate & seventh boat since I was old enough to own one. I am looking forward to hooking up with some mates from the forum this season.
Anyway, love the site and reading about other peoples adventures,projects.etc.. Keep up the goow work!!

Very nice BOTM pic you got there Chris. That Vision should really fly with 500+ Hp. Looking forward to seeing some more pics and enjoy that beast.
