i have changed my fresh water pump with the old style housing that has the fuel pump on it to the new style that doesnt have the fuel pump on it...the pulleys dont line up tho is their a fix for this or do i need to go back with the old style pump and fuel pump. 454 engine

If it needs to go out farther, you could always space it with some washers and longer bolts to get it where it needs to be. But if it sticks out to far, it might be easier to go back to the old style.
