I have not contributed much to this site but I have gained tons of knowledge searching through old threads. Lots of knowledgeable members on this site. I'm looking to sell my 251 or possibly trade for a pulsare. I'd like to downgrade in size but would like to stick with Checkmate. Information on my boat listed below:
2000 Checkmate 251.
Last year this hull was produced. I can provide HIN# if necessary. Great boat, just looking to downsize. Possible trade for smaller boat.
Mods listed below:
- 496 Big Block Chevy, forged internals, square port heads, HV oil pump, Edelbrock air gap intake, Holley 850 DP, 1.7 roller rockers, file fitted rings, balancing of internals was done at Progressive Performance in Opalocka.
- Stainless Marine crossover & thermostat housing
- IMCO Powerflow exhaust with stainless risers.
- IMCO large capacity sea strainer
- Marine Machine fuel filter housing.(large capacity)
- power steering and engine oil cooler.
- Full IMCO dual hydraulic steering system with billet IMCO power steering cap and large capacity Marine Machine reservoir.
- Teague Marine billet oil filter relocation.
- Only synthetic oils have been used since built.
- K&N flame arrestor.
- Holley electric fuel pump
- IMCO bravo steering cap
- Livorsi Stainless drive shower
- Full Clarion sound system 2 x 10" subs
2 x 7" components 2 x 6.5 components powered by 2 x Clarion Marine amps.
- Custom aluminum platform just re-coated.
- Two brand new batteries
- Full custom fit boat cover (Sunbrella)
Just needs new upholstery to be 100%. Still has original since 2000.
