2002 24 foot Convinsor Race fairing or fiberglass windshield look

I love my boat, however would like to get away from the windshield look and go with a race fairing or whited out windshield like the Pantera,s, Fountains etc. I have seen some 26 and 25 models with this look. Has anyone seen or know anyone who has purchased, made, swapped this fiberglass windshield? I would love to make that change. Even wonder if a good sheet metal guy could mold sheet metal around my windshield and paint it white.

Help!!!!!!!

You might just want to get with the Checkmate factory and see if they still have the mold for a solid windscreen. I know they were made. A couple of members on here have 242 Sport models and they have molded windscreens.

If you like the design of your current windshield you might consider painting the frame white and having a vinyl guy cover the glass in white vinyl. You'd get the look but the ability to peel the vinyl down the road for resale or if you get tired of it.

I do love the look.

I have Kip working on a quote for me to do the same thing. They still have the molds for the 220 fairing. I prefer the 242 with the race style fairing.

I say go for it. :thumb:
