I read a article in speed boat magazine that the eneria can increase top speed by up to 3 mpr in some applications, but they only have pitch ranges from 14 in to 22 in.I need a prop for my senator and i want to get it right the first time.I do have a 21pitch laser 2 that gets my boat way to much air ,it was worked over by preformance proppelers in st. petersburg ,florida.I ran my buddys mirage19p and it ran great, but i got to give it back.My alphas ratio is 1.30 and i know {they dont make that ratio in a alpha}but thats what it says.Need some prop help guys, thanks johnz 85:brickwall:

Don't know if its the same prop but I read a prop test article in trailer boats magazine and they tested a new merc prop on a 190 Stingray with a 4.3 that propelled it to a speed of 63mph gps. Ill see if I can find it. I thought that was pretty good considering the weight and power of the boat.

Ok sorry, it was a vensura and they tested with a volvo 4.3 with a 1.60:1 ratio.

"It’s no surprise that the 21-inch wheels ruled when it came to the fastest speeds, but the fact that a four-blade came out on top was interesting. Mercury’s 21-inch VenSura (often called the Offshore Series) four-blade posted a whopping 63.1 mph, edging its next-closest competitor by 2.4 mph. Ironically, Merc touts the VenSura for its bow-lifting attributes and recommends it for 150 to 175 hp outboards and four-cylinder sterndrives. As the test reveals, however, it outperformed all others in top speed on the Stingray 195LR."

enertia

this prop is made of a different alloy.this metal is suposed to be stronger than stainless so the blades can be thinner and it can have a more agressive rake.646$ for this prop ,or 595$ for a mirage plus.50BUCKS more for 3mph.not that bad if its true. hope someones tryed one.:)

I havent read much about the prop, but ive actually been doin a little research on the stingray boats. Im not sure if the same results would apply to all boats the stingrays hulls are definatley suprizing they have 22 ft and 23s doing knockin on and in the 70s. Just food for thought. Aaron
