Checkmate Logo

Ok guys, on Sat. I'm going to be buying a used upholstery/commercial grade sewing machine. I'm doing this b/c although I love the design of the interior on the older (late 80's) 'Mates, I need to replace mine due to it's current condition, and want to spruce it up a little.

Oh and by the way, I've never done any interior work in the past, so this will all be a learing experience.

So... ...with that, one of the ideas that I want to at least try out, is creating the checkmate logo in white vinyl, and working that into the design I've got in mind for the sundeck. Only problem is I can't seem to find a fairly high resolution clean&simple Checkmate logo.

Do any of you have one, or have a link I can "borrow" the image from?

Thanks guys,
-Mark

Checkmate Inc. will probably be able to help ya. I have a few ideas what would be a good, and probably less expensive/free way...

Order a decal from Checkmate (Kip Combs, who is on this board) or Bayview Rick (member on this board too) and then just use that

Or get someone to take a good digital picture of their logo on their seats and then send it to you. If I had a Checkmate, I'd have you one already. Sorry though, and hope all works out well...

wait a sec...

Did the newer Checks come with the logo stiched into the upholstery? If so, can someone post up a pic of an interior that's got that? I'd be real interested in seeing that one.

My seats came with a vinyl decal that was put on the seat back. However it has since faded pretty badly.

One of the rewards of owning a Checkmate is knowing you didn't buy an ugly boat!
