This is a short message from Jimway. I must apologize for being what I call computer challenged. Do I need to be a supporting member to post pictures from my computer? Also, I would like to thank my fellow members for thier info and help but when I hit the Thanks message it says to remove the thanks message. What am I doing wrong? May I also add that I love this site and have enjoyed and found information on this forum that has been very helpful. Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to send my way. Jimway

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the kind words about the site - I'm glad it's been a help to you.

For picture posting, no, you don't need to be a supporting member to post pictures. What you do need to be a supporting member to do, is to upload picture files to our servers.

To post pictures without being a supporting member, you need to host them yourself somewhere and then you can hotlink to them. There are instructions on how to post pictures both ways and in a thread pinned to the top of this forum.

As for the thanks button, one you thank someone for a post, the thanks button disappears as you've already thanked the person and the button is replaced by the remove option.

-Chris
