Short Video of it getting up on plane, then to full throttle real quick. This only about 1/3-1/2 throttle till it gets fully planed off. See how easy it gets on plane.

Longer Video of the motor starting, getting on plane, and hitting about 62mph.

Longest Video, shows a some cool shots of the lake, and specifically the gauges. Notice how fast it winds from 3000rpm to 4200rpm (or so) when I punch it, then it just doesn't spin any faster. Speedo is on the left (and on the fritz), tach on the right, water temp lower left, oil pressure lower middle, and fuel on the lower right.

Its on Memphramagog. The high mountains in the distance are in Canada, but it is being filmed from the US side.

I travel all through VT for work but have not been there. Looks nice. Next time I am in the area I will have to check out the lake.

i wish i could par-take in the viewing of these. i have no internet at the house and the computer im on now at work only has 16 mb of ram. i can barly access this site.:brickwall:

I think its 6 miles in the US, and 26 in Canada. I have made the trip from Boston in real good time, but I drive fast. Figure 3.5hrs or so from rt128. The lake is pretty large. The US side can be shallow, and a little tricky. It is filthy, however, lots of runoff from the farmer's fields, and from what I understand the Canadian EPA is super lax, and dumps raw sewage into the lake. I am not sure if this is true, but I wouldn't doubt it, judging by the color of the water and the presence of nuisance aquatic life. They occasionally have to shut down a local beach due to high ecoli count. Its a shame, cause its a hell of a scenery. I have swam/skied in it mulitplie times, but this lake isn't my primary one. I will try and get some pics of the other 2 lakes I use, which are only 15-25 mins from my house. Their scenery blows this one out of the water.

problem solved

looks good, sounds good, cant beat a checkmate.
It seems like there are now quite a few shiny and clean checkmates on the site. I would love to see that boat in person.
