Very cool little boats. Nicely put together. Interesting history on these models. Curious about the stated speed with a 4.3.
 
I have a friend here at the Jersey shore that has the same setup.
He does clip off 61-62 gps with his. The salt water does help a little on top end.
 
I like those, too. When I was looking for a boat last year, that was one of the ones I was looking for, but they are pretty expensive.
 
JT, Salt water is good for top speed? I've heard rumours of this. Guess I'm gonna have to try out the sound for some extra velocity.

I won't say it is a great way to add to top end or get a lot of extra speed but the natural effect of salt water does increase boyancy by comparason to fresh water.
