Hi Guys,

On my way to Muskoka I saw these two Checkmates for sale along the way. They are at this place called Performance Recreation.

One is a 1987 Enchanter with a 200 HP Mercury outboard. This boat looks GREAT. A real find for someone looking. The transom seems really solid and the interior is actually in decent shape. The gel coat is original and and can totally be brought back with polish. Couldn't find any real damage anywhere. If I had the 7,995, this thread would be titled check out my new boat.

Here is a link to the boat on their own site.

The other boat they had was a 1987 Starflite. This boat is a little rougher. Noticed some damage on the rub rail that surrounds the boat. There are also some scratches in the gel and it looks pretty dull. Not sure if polish will bring this one back. Transom looked ok.... that is one huge Yamaha on the back.
