I realize this is opposite to what most of us do. But I've sort of been bitten by the wakeboard bug and lets face it, light fairly shallow hulls don't throw a big wake.
I've jacked up my pylon to about 6' above the floor and reinforced it. Now I'm looking at fat sac's. Any experience with these? I'm not real concerned with the floor strength - it is alot of weight, but very spread out and even. Two guys standing next to each other in a boat put more PSI down than these bags, and I'm not going to go hammer through waves with 'em full.
I know my starliner will never produce the wake of a big v-drive boat, but I think it could be pretty good... and the cool thing is you empty the bags, swap a prop and the same boat will push 70 mph. I have a dual sport dirt bike (2 stroke!) - why not a dual sport boat?
To that end, I'm looking for a used 19P trophy. Yes, 19P... I'll post in another area for that. Or maybe I'd try a 19P hustler prop...
Thoughts, opnions?!
