Having trouble loading with photobucket

I am having trouble with posting pics that I have loaded up on photobucket. The first night I did it from my brother's computer at his house and all I had to do was copy and paste and it all worked great.

Now I am working with a computer at a library and every time I try to make a thread, I copy and paste my pics just like I did before and after I submit the thread or the reply to another thread, ( I tried both ways) It is blank, It comes back and tells me that I have not posted anything and please lengthen my post to at least one character.

Is the problem with the library computer?
I have tried several here, but I have not gone back to my brother's to see if it works there.

My guess would be some kind of editorial/censorship feature on the public library computer to keep photo's from being up/down loaded.
No boats. No kiddie porn. Don't even think about it.
And we mean it.
Just kidding. "They" don't even exist.

I'm having a different picture issue

I was trying to upload to either the gallery or an album, some boat pictures from a trip I took. They were too big and it would not let me do it. I'm going to need to resize them I guess. I took a quick look through iPhoto for a way to do it and when it did not jump out at me I gave up.

I see Jimway is having issues with adding pictures to one of his threads as well. Misery loves company, so I feel better already.

I just posted an image of Sim in the Greenwood Lake topic and it went in fine.

Did you use the "Direct link" ?
Did you erase the HTTP in the apply box before pasting the link?

I just edit mine slightly in Photoshop. The file size in KB's is typically the issue. The gallery software will actually attempt to auto-resize images, but if the actual file size in KB's is too high won't upload.

As sim suggested, it's probably a security issue at the library of some kind.

In order for the forum to actually work properly, at least for a signed in member, the site has to set a function cookie on the hard drive of the users computer which keeps a user logged in and holds their forum preferences etc. If the forum cookie doesn't set properly, sometimes a member will get signed in and then immediately be signed out agin the minute they try to do something like post a message etc.

I would think the remedy is to use a computer that isn't behind agressive firewalls or that has ramped up security settings.
