Just picked up a 1973 checkmate that needs some love but I am curious if anyone can help me identify what model it is.

Looking in the Checkmate brochures from 74 in the media section of this website, (we don't have a 73) Checkmate was making 2 bowriders back then a 16' and a 17' it either a TRV16 or TRV17. just need to measure it.

What I do know is the the manufacture date is March of 73. Looking at what I can find for pictures it doesn't look like the trv but I could be wrong.

Hi Zorn,
I am just starting to restore a Checkmate Bowrider. It looks like we may have the same boat. I have no idea what year or model my boat is. How did you figure yours out? I tried to find a HULL id # on the transom, but I cant locate one anywhere. where did you find your hull id?
Thanks,
Rob Limehouse
