LU and prop Qs

I have a 4-3/4 lower unit (78 150 v6), but I have a prop, for a xr4 / I6 (4-1/4 LU) that I would like to use. It fits, but is there any down side to running the smaller prop hub, like Performance? If so I guess it will be for sale 22p x13.5 laser II like new.:shakehead:
Thanks, Jared

It should work. It will give you a bit more slip on takeoff with the extra gasses flowing around the prop. I ran a 26P laserII with the small hub on my predictor for years.

I'll be you take off like a rocket. You will have to punch it, then feather it back a bit till it bites and then punch it again.
