new sea leg needs a new shoe

Need some advice for the new(er) muscle in the back of my check. I swapped out my 1989 Johnson 120hp v4 for a 1996 Johnson 150hp v6 looper:devil:. I'm VERY pleased with the sound, response and compression:drool:. The previous owner ran it since brand new on a regular stainless michigan wheel 14"x17p, but he was running twins. He wouldn't part with the old prop since he's saving it for his replacements. I'm thinking a ballistic 14 1/4" x 21-22p would get me a top end around 55-60 w/out a jackplate :surf:. Thoughts?

find a local prop shop that will let you test different props

21 sounds like a good starting place
