Turning up a Bravo prop.

I'm still working on break in but decided to throw on my Bravo 28. My Bravo has one set of 3/4" holes. This prop could definitely use 2 sets of holes. The prop had some bog out of the hole but once it spooled up it pulled like a freight train. Prop had excellent mid and top end accelleration. I was running level with pad and neutral trim. I spun this prop to 6000 rpms. I think with an extra set of holes this prop could be a real killer. With a few more hours I plan on running this prop to it's potential. I think running it up to 1 1/2"- 1 3/4" above pad will net some great gains. I suspect this prop will spin over 6200 rpms at those settings. I have a 30 Bravo that's waiting for some pvs holes. I think the 30 should spin in the 5900-6000 rpms. at 1 1/2"- 1 3/4" With a little work to prop it should then turn 6150-6200 rpms ?! Which I hope will be 92-93 mph GPS. Only time will tell ???!!!:D

Not yet... still looking everywhere, but the bravo's and hydromotive's seem to be a tough find.

You run a big ole tempest on yours ever? Thinking about getting the 29P on bbc for $250, but I don't think it's gonna do much more than my T1 if anything.

I initially started with a Tempest. They were about 2 mph faster than the Trophy props but the holeshot was very poor compared to the Trophy.

Get 'em Hotbeek

Sounds like you are headed down the golden road to the 90's.

Keep up the good work, all your testing and tuning has put me way ahead of where I should be.

Unfortunately I have not hit the water yet this year, but soon.

Keep me abreast of your achievements (dam it boobs are still on my mind for the other thread LOL)
