WakeBoard Tower On 1984 SportFire?

you could get that tower to fit but i think the boat would just stand up straight when you get on it. you may be better off getting a tripod that is mounted further back.

plus i dont think you could hold it straight when the rider pulled way outside the wake. i have never seen a tower on a boat that small but i could be wrong.

OK - I'll ask it. Why? I haven't had a chance to ski behind my sportfire yet, but it has a smaller wake than my buddie's malibu comp. ski boat. I'm real excited to slalom behind her, but I'm not sure there's much to jump. That's about he only thing I need my friends belly-button boat for (19' BR/4.3L - everyone has one) - it throws a sweet huge wake.

On the flip side, let me know if you've figured out how to make a bigger/better wake. Trim up / down my wake is pretty darn small.

WOW - that sportfire is BEAUTIFUL!! Much nicer condition than my '81. The colors look great too!

the sportfire will be better for slolam duty than wake boarding

docs makes a nice pylon that will stand on the deck around the motor

for pulling tubes get a bridel to go to each transom eye

used to love slolam behind the diplomat wakes were only about an inch but hard

the eluder stern drive has big soft wakes kinda trips the smaller skiers on the way across the wakes

daren

I have a 88 sportfire I/O and im planing on putting a tower on it this summer. I would like to see some photos if you put one on.
