What about 22

closed bow pics? So whats the cost of this bad to bone boat? You gave me new boat fever! /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

243, I'm going to move this over to Ask The Experts. I'm sure Rick can help you out. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The closed bow won't be available until January, the mold was just painted last week. The first closed bow is just now in the works. The new boat will feauture new ZT graphics, I'll send pics of these graphics to Chris for postings.

Price.. full retail, is $38,535 without a trailer. This is with a 5.7, add a 6.2 retail now around $44,000... if your curious, we are not the type of people to keep after or "hound you". Send me an e-mail to broker@tds.net and I'll send you what we would start at for price. We've been dealing with Bill, he's buying a 240-ZT, I think Bill would agree. (dang.. owe you another beer Bill) Rick

You are too quick to respond Rick, I was going to mention you tonight! Anyway... Rick is right, I am traing my 17 Diplomat to Rick for a 2003 ZT240. Normally I hate going through the buying process, B.S. put aside, Rick and Bayview Marine has made this a great experience. Ricks dealership is 5.5 hours from me and to be honest with everyone, I would drive 20 hrs to be treated as well as I have been. My only regret Rick, is that the water will probably be too hard to take you for a ride on Sat! By the way Rick, I got the compression results for the motor today and it was 145 on all cylinders!!

Thanks rick I got your e-mail.Looking forward to January. So how does this boat compare to the Senator. My brother has 1988 Senator closed with 454 built so I have a little idea on the room he has.Not enough.A lot of mfg of boats are adding the swim plat- form as part of the OAL.This is why i ask.The local NON-Checkmate dealer has a ZT 240 on the show room floor.I think its a 1998?Love the style hate the color.Purple and hot pink!no thanks. It also has small block.no thanks.I live in big block country. If you dont have 500 hp+ you will be left behind. /infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

These are a preview of what may be the new ZT graphics. I've seen two versions, one with the ZT outlined in white and one version without the outline between the two letters/colors. Very cool! I'm possibly going to have the first closed bow version of the 220-ZT, these graphics only in black with yellow!

Im still looking for the info on the oal for the new 22 check? Is it like my bros senator 20 ft with a 2ft swim platform?I also heard it has a step hull too? Thanks!

The ZT-220 and the Senator are completely different boats. The Senator has a beam of 90", the ZT, 102". The overall lenght of the ZT-220 is 22' with the integrated platform. The Senator, lenght overall with platform is 19'7" according to the info I have on the boat. The ZT-220 will have Checkmates inverted hull, the 220 will feature a double, basically two approx. 1" steps.
I'll have the first 220 closed bow version, hopefully within two-three weeks, white hull, black and yellow ZT graphics, 6.2, Gaffrigs, black C-Hawk trailer, should be a sweet unit! The only thing the two boats will have in common is the deadrise, 20 degrees. The ZT is also a deeper boat. I don't have the weight of the ZT, was told it will be around 3,300 pounds, the Senator was around 2,700 pounds. Hope this helps, should have more info coming soon as we take delivery of the new "mate"! Hope this helps, when I have more info, the new one in my hands, I'll post some pics of her and as I get more info from kip/checkmate I'll post also. Thanks Rick
