Where to launch in the Chesapeake?

Over the weekend I went over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge (by Annapolis) and stuffed myself on a dozen Blue Crab and thought there must be a few bays and coves that I can launch my little 16' Enticer. Do you locals have any suggestions where a novice can play around safely in the Chesapeake?

we are in the upper chesapeake. there are several ramps up here. anchor marine in northeast md.elkneck state park. charlestown Md. has a nice little ramp.
