13ft Paradise or Checkmate Playmate

Did you guys watch the video of the Playmate with the Yammie on it?

That has to be one of the coolest Check's ever. :thumb:

Playmate gt

Hi guys this is my first post to this website,I was posting regarding 13 playmate ,I have a 86 13 Playmate that i spent 2 years and thousands of dollars restoring to showroom new cond,I repowed with a 90 hp yami 3cyl 2 stroke with six inches set back, that seemed to work best ,I have Lenco trim rams with custom made tabs that seem to be the perfect dimensions for this hull,I could probably answer any questions you might have on setting one of these up
COOL VID!!! That thing would be a blast on the St.Johns River. Thanks for sharing.:thumb:

Its a yamaha black steel 13x23p thats been slightly modded, its the only prop so far that
holds the stearn at the right attitude,I wasted a grip of cash on props bought a michigan
apollo, the worst, ballistic sucked, the both lifted the stern so bad at about 47to 50mph
they would vent and blow out.so did the stiletto, the boat is just to light in the rear, those
props are designed for bigger heavier boats,Im going to have one made custom with over hub exhaust.Oh my WOT rpms are about 5750 when all trims set perf.

Will post pics soon, had 50 or so pics on the memory card from last summer, but the camera must have sprouted legs,Today was the only real ok weather day so far this spring here in Oregon,if it lasts through the weekend ill take her blankets off and pull her
out of the shop and take and post pics.Im also going to take video, since I just finished
my Eliminator resto project I can film it at top speed while running along side her.

Thanks for the interest in my little check,il try to post pics as fast as possible, looking
forward to comments and questions about her.

Sounds like a pretty cool little boat Mike. I've been looking for one to play around with myself. I almost bought one a few years back, but someone beat me to it.
Oh well, some day Ill find one. :)

Can't wait to see some pics.

I should swing by and ask the guy if he is selling them,,there are 2 of them,,primer jobs,on the side of someones house in Ocean City NJ.no motors on them..you would think they should be cheap..
