Another (The Latest) 251 Convincor Swim Platform Thread

I know this topic has been discussed before....but now i'm serious about buying another swim platform for my 1988 251 Convincor. Does anyone have pics or ideas about a 1 piece platform instead of my factory 2 piece fiberglass platforms? I've seen a tubular one before but cannot find it or can't find where to purchase one.

Tubular platforms, either extreme marine or alumetalfab. I have a alumetalfab platform, I like it. Both companies build their stuff from scratch and to your specs. So either could make one work.

Could you post a picture of yours? and how much did it cost?

Two choices a thin fiberglass route or the tubular aluminum route. in my opinion the tubular looks much better but for those design builds you're looking close to $2k with powder coating. If you find a solution I'd love to hear about it, I'm looking to replace my two piece as well. At this point I'm thinkin bout getting trying to get the Millwrights at work to do this on the side.

The explorer series starts at 1500 if you buy one I have a ladder. The ladder doesn't work for my setup it won't clear my tie bar. As far as pictures I started a thread called buff and a detail that has my rebuild pictures there are a few swim platform pictures in there. I have a ton of crap mounted to my transom and needed to fit the platform mounts into tight clearances they nailed it
