what engine and hp were you running these props on? im wondering how the hydromotive would compare to my bravo 1 26p?

The hydromotive should turn about equal to your 26p bravo since those tend to act -1 inch in pitch then stamped. Also the hydromotive has a bit more cup put into it so on my 253 Checkmate it balanced awesome on the pad. Much better than any bravo prop I tried. Never tried one I liked on that boat. The 26p mach turns a bit lighter than the hydromotive due to the slightly smaller diameter but was a good all around prop on the 253. I had them on my 548 but actually ended up needing slightly less prop to get up into the 6000 rpm range that motor wanted. I was turning these around 5400.

i was thinking for my 2007 270 with the 496 mag. im spinning the 26p at 48-4900 and it runs very well with my hull. ive never run a hydromotive before. i have a rev4 23p that did not handle well at all with my boat.

I tried a 25p rev 4 prop once. Very fast running prop but handles horribly bad that wasn't worth it. Bad bow steer.

I think the hydromotive would be a great prop for you. I loved it by far over the bravo I props and held the boat extremely stable on the pad with almost no chine walk. I was eventually going to cut the diffuser ring off. Adds 100-150 rpm and settles the stern a bit more. Ive tried a couple hydromotive with diffuser cut and was even better handling. Let me know what you decide!

i would love to try it if i could. im pleased with how the bravo handles on my boat so if this will be even better id be stupid not to. im not looking for any more rpm im supposed to stay at or under 4900 with this engine.
