Hello, Boat Enthusiast. I have a 1976 Checkmate 19.6 trimate. I have owed it for 40 years. Looking to purchase another widshield. Have the old one.

You will most likely never find what you need used anywhere. Your only realistic option is to have one made. If your old frame is good and you just need the glass, you should be able to find someone local to you who will cut the pieces for you.

Check with UPD Plastic in Florida. They make several models of older CheckMate windshields. Take measurements from your old one and you might find that other models may fit. Can’t remember if they make one for tri mate or not. I think they do. It took forever to get one from them for my 73 MX-15, but it was worth the wait. I think it was actually advertised for a different model but the measurements were the same.

More than likely, Taylor made that windshield. You can go on their website and order the the gasket that surrounds the windshield. Get you some pop rivets,and you are in business.
