    1978 Trimate II "For Sale"

    New Member, Checkmate Tri-Mate II

    I have the exact same boat and I rebuilt almost everything in it, it took some time but in the end it is all worth it, good luck and dont give up.

    How fast???

    Thats good enough for me, when I was going 62 it felt tipsey I didn't really expect it to go that much faster. I drilled the mid section and took the can out so as long as it sounds good Im happy.

    How fast???

    I have a 1978 Trimate II and I wanted to know how fast it would go with a 2.4 merc 200? I have had motors on this boat already and the fastest I could get was 62 on Gps with a 2.0 150 merc. That was before I added a hot foot and a 6inch jackplate, but it i dont know what i'll gain.
