Hello Group, I am one of your newest members. I have just purchased a Checkmate Tri-Mate II of unknown year. I do have the serial # and hope that teh company kept files.

Please have a look at pictures of my new boat at

http://www.can-zacaviation.com/checkmate/tri.htm

I am hoping that you will be able to help me out with information, I will do a complete re-build at some point, but the paint is still good and after hours of polishing I am seeing a shine that will make me proud.

I will be needing to re-do the carpet and seats, any help in this would be greatly appreciated. Also I would like to find an origional ladder.

Please let me know any information I can use, colour and type of paint, upholstry, things to look for and standard repairs. This is all new to me.

I have enlarged one of my pictures, I have a 1978 model year !! Thank you. One question down nad many more to go.

Any idea where I can get an origional ladder to fit in the filled holes I have?

I have the exact same boat and I rebuilt almost everything in it, it took some time but in the end it is all worth it, good luck and dont give up.
