    Yeah your right engine is up and for the amount of water comming out of that boat they must of sank it and when they pull it out of the water on ramp something must of got stuck to yank the motor off very very strange and look at all the people stairing at the situation

    I hope the owner of that stratos boat send pics to the factory so they can rectified the problem and change the way they build transom better. The leason here is even if the boat looks nice and fast does not mean it is well built do not save the expence and lighten the transom to save weight

    I would love to see that also and yes you are right they do not have sleeves the cylinders are nikasil it is like chrome and you do not wnt to F -up a cylinder on this one because its big $$$ but you run it wright it will last longer then sleeves the only draw back is you can not rebore

    Ok this is how a prop works ex. a 25p prop does 25in. for each rotation, a 27p will do 27in./rotation so rule of thumb if you can run a 27p @6000rpm you will get more mph 2 reasons : 1 the prop travels more and : 2 the more it travels it lifts the bow more and you do not have to trim as much...
