Atlantic City Powerboat Rally (Poker Run

Sounds like an awesome time. Unfortunately for the rest of us, the boat of the month is locked for the next 2 1/2 years!

Atlantic City Powerboat Rally (Poker Run

That sounds like a great time. It makes me wish I lived back in NJ again. I hope you have a great time and great weather. I am curious, will the route be inland or will you be on the ocean?

    Trailering Question

Thanks for that. My gelcoat ins't great, but doesn't need to get any worse. I will take the cover off and leave the cockpit cover on.

    Trailering Question

I am about to trailer my boat approximately 300 miles this weekend and have left the winter cover on it (it is a trailer-able cover). I was told by an associate that if I left the cover on, it would damage my gelcoat. Does anyone know if this is true? If it is, why would they make a...

    New floor

My floor isn't soft but my grey covering is sub-optimal at this point (looks more brown than grey). I was planning on recovering it with carpet. Has anyone done that before and had any issues? I am thinking that the only problem will be cleaning it.

    Checkmate Hellcat?

I thought about those things and you are absolutely correct. Cooling, exhaust, and finding a bullet proof outdrive are indeed a problem, but after reading the LS project from Corey331, I almost believe anything is possible. You may have to de-tune it a bit but losing 600 lbs with around 700 HP...

    Checkmate Hellcat?

I just read the following from Chrysler: "You Can Now Hellcat Whatever You Want with Mopar’s 707-HP Hellcrate Engine" "Mopar-loving horsepower fanatics can finally stop chasing wreckers: The iconic 707-hp Hellcat V-8 engine is now available as a crate engine, with a warranty. No need to go...

Change out stock 260ZT seats to swivel seat

I have the holes in my side as described. The previous owner just left them:sick: I filled them with white plastic grommets from Lowes. Not concourse restoration, but better.

Change out stock 260ZT seats to swivel seat

The guy who owned my boat before me did the conversion and they seem fine. The swivel seats he used have the fold up bottom to the seat so you can stand if you wish. I don't notice any sway or undue motion, they seem to be anchored quite well. I believe there are about 10 - 15 big screws through...
