ENCHANTER QUESTION

CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF AN ENCHANTER REQUIRES A LONG SHAFT OR A SHORT SHAFT MOTOR? OR IF IT DOESNT MATTER.

THANKS

probably a long shaft - 20 inches, measure the transom from the top to the bottom of the boat should be in the 20" neigbourhood

They are best with a standard 20' shaft but I have run one with a 25" shaft, you need a jack plate to get enough height but it works. I can get you a pic of it if you like.

THAT WOULD BE GREAT I JUST PICKED UP A 25" YESTERDAY, A PHOTO GETING ME IN THE AREA OF WHERE I NEED TO BE IN WOULD BE A GREAT HELP.

THANKS

Put it on a jack plate in the highest bolt holes, raise the jack plate as high as you can and it still won't be too high. boatman

Heres a shot of my Enchanter with a 25" shaft motor, not pretty but it works.
