water pressure guage

just need to know how to hook up the water pressure guage kit that i just ordered from west marine! it comes w/ all that i need including the hose ect.... thanks ross:sssh:

Here's a picture of what mine looks like. See the tee in the middle w/ a hose going back to the gauge. Hope this helps.

there will most likely be a spot on top of the motor. it will be in the v of the block just inches from the flywheel. it should be pluged with a 1/4 or 3/8 npt plug. remove it and screw your fitting in there. it is a better place as it takes the thermostats out of the loop.

Well guys I stand corrected. No wonder I'm getting low readings on my wp gauge it's in the wrong place. I followed the directions assuming I was installing the hose in the right spot.:eek: Kct11 is right take the T-stats out of the loop.
