While I'm waiting on the new Checkmate decals I decided to remove the hand rails then add recess cleats and navigation light on the bow.
I like what Al did to his 83 Enforcer I believe he had boat of the year. Here are some pictures without the hand rails.

nice boat!

Your boat looks real good.Yours is one of the nicer enforcers I've seen thats been restored.

I could go either way with it. BUT I do think the guy who decided on puting those cleats in the middle of the bow on some Checkmates should be givin a kick in the A$$.

Leave the rails off if you can clean up the holes. If they wont fill good, the rails will be fine. :thumb:

Which ones did you go with:sssh:

I talked to Mike @ Checkmate on Monday and sent pictures he suggested to go with the new Decals that's on the 09 Pulsare to give the Enforcer a more modern look. I'm getting the white decals.

I agree. The reason I removed them was the rails needed new hardware and leaked. I'm friends with the local boat repair shop, he's giving me some gel to fill the holes, then use awlgrip to touch up the white stripe where the hand rails were mounted. I'll remove the middle cleat on the bow as well if I can cover the holes without it being noticable. The mate overall is in great shape for the year, it's got some nicks and scratches here and there, nothing bad though.

I prefer the clean look w/o the rails, too. I'm really starting to like to looks of the Enforcers more and more. Yours looks great! Good luck with filling the holes.
