As any boat repair always starts it looks like it is going to be a small job the further I go the more I found. I thought I was just going to have to replace the floor in the open bow area of my enchanter. after I went on a quest tearing out the front the further I went the more wet wood and water logged foam I found. Now it has turned into a full floor and a new stringer for the center.
My question is how much resin, powder for making bedding compound, and specific type of cloth/mat do I need to buy so I don't have to keep on ordering stuff as I run out? how many layers of cloth do I need to put on the stringer and the floor? How thick of wood should I replace it all with? I have a good knowledge of what I need to do to replace it all but any pointers a help would be great will post pics soon.
I am planning on just taking the 34 inch wide floor and going straight to the front taking out the step up in the floor for the open bow area. It is getting a cover and is just going to be used for storage anyway.
