My name is Johne from Wisconsin. I just purchased a 1986 Enchanter project boat. I'm very excited to have a forum to connect with other Checkmate owners. I customize boats for a hobby. I have some engine questions that I'll post in another thread. Looking forward to talking and meeting some of you.

Cassville (WI) rally every year--1st full weekend in august. Several checkm ates (3 2100's and 18 footer, 25 footer). River run friday (Cassville to Prairie du Chien for lunch, lock thru), beach on saturday. Beach 2 miles north Cassville--east side

Cool, my wife is from Centuria, WI on the west side...a lot of lakes around there, so though maybe you might be in the neighborhood.

Good luck with the project! A lot of good resources on here and knowledgeable folks who like to answer questions.
