I am currently working on this Jr and will have it ready this spring. I have a long history with this boat back to 1978. I am currently repainting the deck and putting back the red racing stripe the way it was originally. when finished it will have a 90s vintage Mercruiser GenII engine and drive package. Completely rebuilt.
This little 17' boat was designed by Don Aronow while he still owned Formula boats. He sold Formula and started Donzi and immediately began work on the sweet 16 which is almost the same boat. The Formula Jr. was only produced for 3 years and about 150 were produced make this little hot rod a rare find.

Got it running and out a few times. What a great ride. Smooth and not affected much by waves. Rides like a 24' Checkmate. Any one interested should e-mail me and I will send back pictures.
