1980 Predictor wakeboard tower question

:welcome:What is the Thickness of the fiberglass on the sides? I am looking to put a wakeboard tower on and it has to be 3/8" or more.

I too have a 1980 Predictor and when the sun hits it just right, you can see light through the fiberglass in the sides. Beyond that, I imagine you would have trouble getting up on plane pulling from a tower. Does your Predictor have a ski pylon? - works well on mine.

The deck and hull is not heavy enough to bolt a tower on and tow with...even if you use large backer plates...will cause a ton of flex and cracking. That hull is not designed for that. A ski pylon tied into the structure/stringers would be fine.

Thanks i love this forum. im new to t but quick replies. What company should i look into for a pylon and how does it tie in?
