For sale (make an offer)

Checkmate sportfire in red and silver. Title in hand. Comes with a 5.5" setback jackplate and a blown motor. Also with the purchase is a non-titled Chariot Steel trailer. I was told by my local mercury dealer that the motor was improperly rebuilt and the motor spat chunks of aluminum into the reed cage.

The hull has a radio installed with speakers, XM Radio, and I will even let the handheld GPS (Garmin GPSMap) go with the purchase because it has a mount.

The hull is in good shape and the gelcoat is original and looks nice.

Make an offer.

If you are interested I can send pics and we can talk.

Sorry to hear that it blew up Man.:shakehead: bummer
If you want to part anything out Ill take the cowling and jackplate...(still have the guage)

Ill spread the word for you Sean.

No, it started doing the same thing it has been doing all along again. The mechanic said that chunks of aluminum were getting caught in the reeds and that was causing the bogging issue.

I will part this out, but I would rather sell it whole, so I am going to try that first. I can't even look at it without wanting to go all Michael MacDermott.

As I said, make an offer please. You can do it through PM.

I am right next to Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Also, I would prefer to sell this thing whole so preference will be given to those who are willing to make a deal on the whole thing.

If I end up having to part out the boat I will probably do so on ebay.

Thanks,
Sean

Additional Pictures and info

Here are some additional pics. Please note the following change:
Boat does not come with GPS.

It does come with the CD Deck/Stereo and XM Radio.

No battery/No prop

Starting bid is 2000.00 That is what one of the mechanics at the dealership offered me for the package as seen in the pics below. These pictures were taken today, so they are the most up-to-date.

I would like to get 3500 for it as is. If you can match or beat it and pay first, it's pretty much yours.
