" For Sale" 1989 Checkmate Enchanter $8500

I just got off the phone with Kip Combs & wanted to correct my info:

He thinks there were only 4 or 5 Enchanters made (custom orders) in '89... as far as he could tell they were all I/O's. He's not sure what effect that would have on the value but he did acknowledge that what we have are pretty rare & should become a bit more valuable to the serious Checkmate conasuer... for what that's worth! :drool:
 
That's awesome, thanks for checking on that. I may take it off the sale list and take it to the boat show here on the lake next spring. There may be someone there that appreciates the quality of the Checkmates.

She is a beauty --- love those old enchanters

A boat like that should definately go to someone with a real appreciation for performace boats and not someone who's just gonna run it and beat it.

Yes, still for sale.
But price is FIRM at $8500. Took her out last weekend for the last ride of the season to get the stabil run through good. And it was a beautiful day. She ran perfect and really want to make sure who gets her is going to take care of her. How many 89 model boats do you see that are completly original inside & out, carpet and seats too. Yes, she does have a few bumps and bruises but there is a story behind each one. But completely solid bow to stern. Will be taking all the plugs, hoses, cables, etcs. aloose this weekend and dry her out for the winter. SO, last chance to check her out till next spring.
