1993 Checkmate Pacifica Edelbrock Ed. (1 of 2 ever made)

One of the members posted it for sale on here, take a look in the postings.
 
Yea....we just put the batteries in her and fired it up today.....ran great. I posted it on Craigslist too today.....he needs to get rid of it.
 
Interesting boat, what's the stoy behind it as far as why it was discontinued? the leading edge of the hull looks different from most mates i've seen of this era.
 
I am not sure about the whole story on this mate.....I have never seen another one of these hulls around. All I know is that this is one of two Edelbrock Editions made and was a held-over 1992 which was the last year for this hull (this is what c-mate factory told us when we had to call down there for a value when he bought it). The other is in California I believe.
