2002 Checkmate ZT240

good morning my fellow checkmate owners! i am a first time checkmate owner finally. i have some infamous prop questions for you experts. my boat is a 24 foot zt240 with a 496 motor pushing approx. 375 hp. the operating RPM was suggested to be around 5200-5300 RPM. currently, i have a 3 blade 24 pitch prop on it. sometimes during take of (during the planing) the motor seems to out power the blade and cause cavatation. not sure what i should do about this. should i just keep this prop and feather the throttle when that happens or should i change props. if so, what prop would be ideal for this boat? i would really appreciate your responses to these questions.

I would probably switch to a Bravo 1 prop, 4-blade. I may have one around here. How many rpm's are you turning with the 3-blade at WOT?

lt, I do not have any 26's RH around, do have a LH though. I can get you one at dealer cost if you would like.

Bobby,
Definitely recognize the boat. Congrats on your new purchase.
