Here are the details.

For those trailering, great free boat launching facilities and trailer parking available. Meet on the water at the docks just near the Steamships.

Checktographer and I had the best time last year at this event. It was totally worth our 22 hour drive for a 100 miles on the water. Beautiful clean lakes, gorgeous mountains and of course awesome Checkmates.

I'm not sure if it s fortunately or unfortunately I'm going to be riding motorcycles in the Yukon Territory and up to Anchorage and will have to miss this cool event.

from your host - about the 2017 Run: Aug 19

Awesome video of last year's Rally DropTop, thanks for sharing. Too bad you cant make the short 22 hour drive to Muskoka.

2017 Muskoka Checkmate Run update: We have a modified route this year with a full tour of Lake Muskoka in the morning, before lunch at famous Turtle Jacks on the water in Port Carling. Our afternoon run will go around Tobin's Island on Lk Rosseau, over to Cleveland's House and up the Lake Joe River to the top of Lk Joseph. Then we head south to Port Sandfield, with the prevailing wind, which should reduce the rough afternoon ride, and back to a cottage on Lk Muskoka for refreshments and networking.

The weather forecast at the minute has some risk of rain in the afternoon, we plan to adjust accordingly the route if required.

Look forward to seeing a large group of fellow Checkmate enthusiasts. We have parted with the other non Checkmate Boats this year.
