This is just a feeler.... I would like to try and run one before I buy one! Is there anyone anywhere close to 47920 that would be up for meeting up for an afternoon of beating on my boat and drinking a beer or 3 on me while letting me try out a prop?? Im up for driving a little distance!
 
I am running a 26 B1 now and it runs good but is too much for the little Vmax... If im light its great but on a hot summer day with 4-5 people fuel and beer on board I have to use the tabs to get her on plane and then i cant get into my needed rpm range. If i make it to the bash this year (not looking good with work... :() I would love to give the Rev4 a try! I am going to borrow a friends 23 mirage Thursday i think as well. Time to man up and buy the right prop for this boat!!! :rof:

Bblades has a testing program that is pretty reasonable. I just sent my bravo in to them for some tweaking, otherwise I would invite you down to try it.
 
Our boats are totally different, but I tried a 25 pitch 3 bland and it was terrible. It did nothing but slip and blow out. What rpm and speed are you running now? And also what do you rev limit at?
 
I forgot to say my Bravo I is just sitting in my garage collecting dust. So let me know if you want to try it out.
 
If you get a bravo from a sterndrive it wont have the exaust vents which will help hole shot for 2 stroke applications. Bblades can add those if you end up with one. Merc does make a XS version of the bravo for 2 strokes.
 
In cool weather and light i can get the 26" to about 5200 rpm and about 66-67mph. On a hot summer day with fuel and a normal load about 4800-5000 rpm and only about 60-61mph. To get the 26 to spin up enough to get it into the mid 60's i have to run it high enough that i run into water pressure issues porpoising when 3-4 people in the boat and turning blowout (i blame some of that on an imperfection on the bottom of the boat at the transom). I would really like to be back up in the 5500 rpm range when loaded i think and whatever i get i am going to have some work done on it to help it lift the big turd out of the water a little better..

Edit: I also have a solas 3 blade that i run when its hot and im heavy most of the summer. It is a 21" and does not lift the boat hardly at all! I can turn it to 56-5800 but the boat just feels glued to the water...

I've got a 23 p laser2- 3 blade that you're welcome to play with if you
handle the postage.
Also have a mirage 23p 3blade.
They're just sitting bored in the garage.
You're welcome to take them out for some exercise.

BTW- Just today tested out a 24p Bravo1 for the first time that I picked up used on ebay. On my Enforcer 230 with the 454bb it was "DA BOMB".
The perfect hole shot and I picked up at least 5-8 mph on the gps.
haven't really had the chance to run it for full yet.
 
Ran a 23" mirage plus saturday. Boat still felt pretty wet and glued to the water but went the fastest it has ever run on gps! Went 67.7 but still at only 5400 rpm. So still short about 400 rpm of where i feel i should be on a cool day with only 2 people and a half a tank of fuel... What do you guys think?
