234 persuader prop question

Hi,
We have a 1993 - 234 persuader with a 502 BB. When we have four adults in the boat, we are having a hard time "coming out of the hole". It currently has a Ballistic Attwood 13 3/4 X 25 four blade prop. We were told by Checkmate that it originally came with a 14 1/2 X 25 Mercury Mirage 3 blade prop. Does anyone have any ideas as to why it's not coming out of the hole very fast? It seems to run good once on plane, but getting it there is the problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Chris

We are running a 27" mirage plus with a 502 BBC to 5100 rpm at 80 mph on the same boat. It runs straight & true at wot. You may want to try a mirage plus
