We got the toon itch.
I know, hard to go from a performance boat to a floating sofa but we're not getting any younger.
I've seen prices all over the place and the west coast is ridiculous on used boat pricing.
NADA comes in around $23k
Looking for your thoughts,
I am original owner since new in 1997.
Mercury 500HP. Valves and springs were already done.
Factory wire tie seal still on crankshaft
438 hours.
Just had gimbal seal, upper steering pivot, shift cable, and bellows replaces at a total of $2600.
Mayfair single ram
Silent choice
That's the major stuff but i have more
I have a decal over original gel.
Recent interior to get rid of the rasberry
Garaged for 20 years

With the blue motor, origional owner, maintenance, condition and color updates I’d think it will be an easier sell and should pull toward the higher end of the range above.

Like was said previously, with the blue motor and being original owner, I’d say $25-28k should be no problem. It would probably sell quicker if it was in the Midwest though, just because of it being a well known brand in this area.

We were having dinner last night by the London Bridge and saw a 253 go by.
Only 2nd Checkmate i've seen since we've been here.
Most people out here have never heard of Checkmate.

If you’re Boat is as nice as it looks someone will buy it for your asking price. I overpaid for mine but the boat was perfect, as good as new! My boat still looks like new! If the boat is perfect, sell it that way?
