2800SX Outboard FL Keys rendezvous!!!

JUPITER PULSARE

Well-known member
Max (2tonchevy) and I just rented rooms at the Bayview Inn & Marina on Conch Key for July 7th through the 12th:bounce:!! It's going to be a
Checkmate 2800SX reunion and maybe the first time in history two 2800's will be photographed together:)!! Bayview Inn is in Marathon, the Florida Keys with a boat ramp and docks right behind the rooms!! Looking forward to a week of snorkling, boating, sunshine, exploring, BBQ's, fresh seafood, and some Key West partying:cheers:!!!! The "twins" will get to meet for the first time!!!:bigthumb:

Athough the Keys is a great place for partying and boating and etc...
Those two 2800's are gonna dress that place up even better.

Have a great time and take plenty of pics --- would love to see a video of those two in a run with each other.

Max ill be your beer b!tch. Lol!

Make sure to get some vids!

ran it on the hose before heading to the ramp yesterday....port engine throttle is "sticking" or "running on" as it they say. when revved it does not come back down to idle and if it does its very slow. if i turn the engine off and restart it goes right back to idling when restarted....?????

Max I am wondering if you need to put fuel pumps in the boat. Not sure why they did it on mine but wondering if that isn't your problem. If not mybe some thing got sucked up in carb. That usually is a sign of lean condition.

They do say in the manual that you are not supposed to rev them up out of water. Does Jupiter have pumps in his boat or just on the motors.

hey man!

Jupiter has the same set up i have: just the primer bulbs and motors. so i should be ok.

i have heard your not supposed to rev em....i was really just tryin to see if the water pressure was comin up by stabbin the thorttle a lil bit. i had the whole lower in a tank at my house when i did it. and it doesnt do it everytime....?????

ima see if i can find it. im sure its nothin major.

Maybe something got in carbs in the exchange or something. Wish you were closer would be able to help you out more.
