4.3L rebuild questions.

Well I am having second thoughts to swapping my 4.3 for a 350.

I might just rebuild this engine. But have some questions.

Where is the best place to find rebuild parts/kits for the OMC Cobra 4.3 Also, while building this motor, what would be some good things to do, to boost performance? I would like to throw some headers on it and get rid of the manifolds. I would assume a nice cam would be in order.

Any input would be appreciated.

Those manifolds have water running thru them for a reason! Regular headers will melt your
boat... unless they also have water jackets! I, myself, would opt for the 5.7
